Shannon McElroy has 21 years of writing and editing experience in the different worlds of publishing, education, and business. She loves helping writers discover the story they didn’t know they wanted to tell. She has also worked as a teacher, stockbroker’s assistant, entertainment production coordinator, and has been a museum director. Shannon has lived in all four corners of the United States—locations which have inspired her and tuned her ear to what people want to say and the best way to help them say it. To take part in another’s journey from the spark of an idea, to rough draft, to published book is something that Shannon considers an honor. When not writing or editing, Shannon enjoys hiking, reading, coloring, daydreaming, and having fun with her husband and four children in the Pacific Northwest.
“Write only what you love, and love what you write. The key word is love. You have to get up in the morning and write something you love, something to live for.”
~ Ray Bradbury
